ALL OF ILLINOIS IS IN PHASE 4
Effective March 19, 2021, all of Illinois remains in Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan. Governor Pritzker announced a Bridge Phase that will loosen restrictions across industries to allow increased opportunities for businesses as we begin recovery.
MOVE TO BRIDGE PHASE WHEN ILLINOIS HAS 70% OF 65+ VACCINATED
To reach the Bridge Phase, 70% of all individuals aged 65+ in Illinois must have received at least one dose of vaccine. The metric to move forward will no longer be based on regions, but on a full state approach. As of March 19, 61% of those 65+ have received at least one dose.
ENCOURAGE ALL 65+ IN CHAMPAIGN COUNTY TO GET VACCINATED
While Champaign County has exceeded the 70% goal of vaccinating individuals aged 65+, increasing this percentage will be critical to raising the number statewide. We ask all in Champaign County to continue to encourage and assist seniors with accessing the vaccine, and to be on alert for available appointments and clinics. Stay tuned to the CUPHD website for weekly updates on vaccine availability.
